As an online consumer for the privilege my business I demand immediate delivery or I just wont buy that item, and I will tell you why. I recently bought a bumper online to the tune of 2 grand, and the company notified me of a delay for the excuse of the day. I had talked to Visa and your rights end after 60 days from date of purchase. it is "possible" to get a refund after 60 days, but you have no right to it and in fact you can be charged for something you never receive if you didn't complain within 60 days from purchase. So any guy can make his own decisions on what he buys online with visa, but when I here delays and slow shipping I go back to that feeling I had when I thought I might have to pay 2 fricking grand for a bumper that didn't come. I ended up receiving the bumper after 2 months, but I am not sailing on that ship again. For local business you have rights, you can take them to small claims, but when you get into a dispute online it is eye opening how little protection you have. When I am ready for a VB I will see what I can get locally, maybe someone locally can order a Sharadon for me.
However, what would work for me is if they don't bill my card until they ship, then all is good. But if they charge my card and then stall because they have more important stuff, that isn't for me personally.
