I'm not gonna ask what shocks yall get or any of that stuff. I'm curious to know how do you know when it's time to replace them and how do you tell when it's time to replace them. I'm feeling a bit loose in the suspension department. Its has 60k on it.

Shocks should be replaced every 50k, but a lot of people run them for a lot longer. Typically when bad they'll leak, or make the vehicle feel like a boat, they will be too bouncy or they might not even dampen things like a pothole or speedbump.

Im new into this but I asked my shop the same question. He told me that it depends on how you drive your truck. You could be driving 90% on the pavement 10% offroad while some people could be driving 50% on pavement 50% offroad. If I were in your situation, I'd take it to the shop and have them check.

This is a good way to tell.

Agree, go over a speed bump a bit faster than you normally would. If the truck continues to bounce up and down you need shocks.
The truck should dampen the up and down immediately if shocks are good.

Nice video here
