Absolutely must have ventilation. Used them for about 20 years and with that caution, they work great.Problem with those is they require lots of ventilation. More for outdoor heat like covered patios. Run one in your shop with the door closed for too long and it's bad news.
I'll look into these thanks. Out in the sticks so were on propaneI looked at radiant heaters when I built my garage but ended up going with a natural gas forced air furnace instead and I am glad I did.
It's cheaper and warms the garage faster after I open the door in -20C. I was recommended a Reznor unit by a buddy and it has been flawless. Mine is 45,000 btu for my 24'x24' garage but they make them all the way up to 400,000 btu. If you don't have natural gas in your area they also can be run on propane. They are hung by the ceiling so they take up no floor space.

Thank you! Were are going to arch the asphalt from the man door of the garage to the man door of the shop and out.Exciting. That is great progress. Really like the orientation of the shop to the house.
Absolutely. Getting this shop is honestly like my dream come true as corny as that may sound haha. All I can think about is the endless possibilities once this baby is finished. That’s awesome. I’m glad to see the progress. It will be all worth the headache when you’re done

I got that covered [emoji106]Pull a few CAT6/7 ethernet cables between the house and your shop and add a few drops on the bench wall so you have wired network/communications available. I prefer to wire devices that are going to be permanent fixtures rather than rely on wireless.
2 X 6 wallsmaybe I missed it, but what exactly was the rationale behind using 15 amp outlets? Run everything on the 15/20 combo ones and then you can plug anything in any outlet that’s 110v.
Im not a fan of drywall in shops, I rather have the walls covered in OSB or plywood, that way you can attach things to the wall easily.
2x4 or 2x6 walls? (I may of missed it)
