I have an outdoorsman, so I don't have the sport cut outs. Show off how you ran your exhaust without the bumper cutouts.

This is my old 2010 Hemi SLT with the single exhaust. I removed the resonator, cut the tip off, and replaced the stock muffler with a Mufflex 18" kit.

Here's the video of the sound.

Hi TylerB,

Did you get rid of that nasty looking resonator? That is the only thing I just don't like about my 13. When you look at the back that thing is just there.

TylerB, how did that do sound wise, because the look is tempting? I have a muffler delete, and feel like turning it down like that would be insanely loud in the cab. What is your take?

They make smaller resonators that you could tuck up higher and the you could put a dual tip behind the rear tire.

No louder than before it was dumped. Deleting the resonator just changed the sound a little not the volume.

No pics, but on my 05 I dumped them after the axle and I loved the look (or lack of) of hidden exhaust. Not to mention it gave it a cool sound, with a heavy slash cut tip pointed at the ground it's very muscle car-like IMO and rather than a directed sound like round tips straight out the back, the sound just kind of splashes out from under the truck all over.

I've been reading about the NASCAR style boom tips, might look good in front of the rear wheels.

Which Mufflex kit is that? Mellow, moderate or aggressive? I just want a little more sound than stock so I'm leaning towards the mellow kit. Any interior drone at all with it?

Here's my MBRP single side exit, stainless steel.

I was never a fan of duals on a truck, I'm the only one I know that removed the dual and put a single side exit.

Side exit sure(I dumped mine on this truck just like my previous truck I posted earlier), but I did the same thing, traded the stock duals and bumper in favor of the stock ST grey bumper and it's single exhaust. Never been a fan of dual exhaust pipes sticking out the back.
