Side mirror swap, need advice

So my mirrors turned dark awhile back. I finally ordered new mirrors from protuninglab. 09-12. My truck is '12 laramie. I went back with the same mirrors, chrome, heated, puddle lamp. I took my door panel off and the wire plugs arent the same. The existing plug has way more wires than the new plugs. Just trying to figure out if they are the same and will work. Or should i send them back before install them?

Your Laramie has memory and auto dim also so the new ones are missing some features. What do you mean went dark?

I'd check to make sure they're the right mirrors with all the options you have now.

Most after market is plug and play. The new mirrors probably don't have the same options as your old Laramie had.

The mirrors are dark brown all the time. Can barely see out of them at night

I went ahead and installed them. Everything works on them. The new ones probably dont have memory. Not sure about auto dimming.

I seem to remember, that some members mentioned that one of their Heated Mirrors turned Brown


there should be 2 or 3 more wires for the Puddle Lamp
