Side Step Compatibility Across 4th Gen Ram 1500

Will side steps fit the same across the entire 4th Gen Ram line? I'm curious since the Mopar Accessories side steps seem to differentiate between 2009-2012 models and 2013 to present (1500 Classic) and are much pricier than aftermarket versions. On the other hand, the aftermarket side steps seem to say they fit across the entire 4th Gen model line regardless of model year and are much cheaper.
