Just bought this truck and LOVE IT. But I need side steps.

This is the "Classic" version, based on the 4th Generation. You'd assume (like I did) that it's just another Gen 4 truck, and everything's the same.

But it isn't! Just switched out the front speakers for kickers and bought gen 4 wiring connectors...and they didn't fit. Seems the "Classic" requires Gen 5 connectors (I just popped off the male connectors and pushed each pin into the female connector and taped them in place).

So, with this in mind, I'm wondering if buying side steps designed for 4th gen will fit my new Classic.

Anyone have any definitive data? Please refrain from saying "yeah, it should fit" unless you know for sure. Thanks.

when I just went on Westin's website and looked up the ones for my RCSB, it shows the same model # for the 19 Ram Classic RCSB. So, it seems the ones for the RC are the same

I installed a pair that I ordered for a 2018 model. They fit my 2019 Classic perfectly.

Same here. I have a 19 classic and installed side steps ordered for a 2018. There may be a few minor tweaks to little things, mostly electronics like the speakers you already discovered, but the major mechanical components, body, suspension, frame, etc..are all the same on the classic as other 4th gens. I also ordered everything for an 18 when putting on a front and rear level kit and everything bolted right up.
