I have "Bully" steps on my 2012 4X4. I am my 88 year old mother's care giver and she can get in the truck easier than a car, (believe it or not). She can pull her self in and the "step" is set lower than typical running boards. Down side, significant clearance compromise. I have had clearance issue here on the farm. As far as the installation, steps were easy, however, needed a 90 degree drill for some of the holes due to clearance.

Thats why amp power steps are so nice. They work just as well when deployed, yet they are not even there when the door is shut.

I have the Amp Research power steps on my 1500. I would not own the truck without them, they're that useful! Amp makes an extend version for higher riding vehicles (2500, lifted, etc). It places the deployed step a little lower for greater comfort. They also offer a dual motor option for snow belt regions; adds more power to overcome any snow & ice buildup. They're customer sevice was adequate. Installation is quite easy if you're handy (I did mine in an afternoon). They are way more expensive as compared to fixed boards, but well worth it. It is by far, the single best option I put on my truck. I highly recommend them!

You off-road. Have you smashed yours at all yet? Sometimes I feel like I’m being extra careful to not smash em lol. Even if they hit a bit not sure how much damage a bend or dent or two would really do. I LOVE amp steps and hate even thinking about removing em

Wilderness Collective put a set of n-fabs on the F250 they brought to SEMA. One of the few functional pickup builds at the show.

Ah. Well never mind then lol. Them are nice too! If my amps need to be replaced that’s what it’s going to be with

They function decently as a step. I would like to have the added step function of the amps, but chose the wk sliders for their protection.

I hate all the options because I dont like sacrificing clearance.

This is the one i like. Steps are adjustable and the rock rails Provides protection.

I was debating between the rkr system and the nerf bar system and I ordered a set of the bed access nerf bars this morning. I'll post pics when they're on.

Should be in tomorrow and on the truck by the weekend. Thanks for turning me on to this brand!

Okay, I put these on a couple weekends back. Easy install with the help of a friend.
These are the n-fab nerf bars, I like the profile and the look. 188324df591316cfa2aba37de671cdbb.jpga278cd7060e12c56a14ba1baae156137.jpg1c0c6f5b123854c7d7de445f3b79bc8f.jpg
