Hey guys, a little bit about my Ram. It's a 2018 Ram 1500 Bighorn 4x4. 31,000 miles. about 5,000 miles back, it developed a slight vibration only when decelerating. Once I take my foot off the gas and the truck starts to slow, there is a vibration felt somewhere in the drive train. It still does it even if I put it in neutral while slowing. Same if foot is on the brake or not. I started thinking it may be my ****** Goodyear SRA's but I recently put on a new set of Falken Wildpeaks and same thing. Thoughts on where to start with this? I did a search and came up blank.

Good description...

Do you feel it in the gas pedal or brake pedal? See if you get the same thing in 4 wheel low, high, and auto.

Two things Initially came in mind - half shaft, which you don't have. Then u joint.. or rear end slip.

My suggestion, check all brake calipers, ensure the bolts are tight. Check u-joint, there shouldn't be any play. (Easy and inexpensive replacement anyway. Don't go cheap on these.) Next, tie rods, front end for any losers. Wheel bearings are left...

Yup, I've got you running underneath and around your truck. This type of issue is difficult.

IMHO in order of probable cause - u joint is bad, wheel bearings, swap front wheels/tires with rear.

Hi @Scotts Ram - If you're not able to determine a solution based on suggestions from fellow forum members and you decide to address this with your dealer, please let us know via private message. We would be more than happy to provide you with an additional layer of assistance for that process.

I am going to take it in. I always like to have a rough idea of the possible issue before I do so I know whether or not I'm getting screwed.
