slotted rotor / pad suggestions front

Hey everyone. Fronts are starting to make a little noise. Any good advice / recommendations on a slotted and or drilled rotor upgrade for the gen 4 ram? Pads? It could stop better than it does. Thanks.

I have been running Brake Motive drilled/slotted for over 3 years , not a problem.

I've been looking at Baer rotors and pads. Just the oe upgraded pad and rotor replacements not the full brake package.

Can Pep Boys or Autozone turn drilled/slotted rotors? Or do I have to bring them to a special race shop?

I used slotted only rotors and ceramic pads from Brake Labs. I got all 4 rotors and both sets of pads for $208 shipped to my door. I installed everything about 5k miles ago and I haven't had a problem. No noises or pulsating

As long as the rotors are still thick enough to turn it can be done by anyone with a brake lathe.

I have the same set up and when mine get hot they tend to smell. Do yours do the same?
