Small Oil Filter

I've decided to change the oil in my 99 Ram 1500 w 5.2l. I've been using a quick change shop and they have a Valvoline VO-25 filter on it. I bought a WIX from OReiley and it's much larger than the Valvoline. So I looked up the VO-25 xref and it does NOT list the WIX 51085. But the WIX is the right filter.

What land mines await me now that I am going to a wider filter?

The 51085 will work. Isn't the VO-25 a 1-quart filter? If you want a 1-quart, get the WIX 51515.
