Crankcase ventilation. You're fine putting a small filter on it, Vararam includes one with their Airgrabber to do the same.

It's PCV in other words Crankcase ventilation

You can put a little breather filter on there but then you are having un-metered air enter the motor which could cause idling problems. Some oil could come out of the filter.

PCV is on the passenger side and hooks into the intake manifold right under the throttle body. The crankcase breather coming off the oil fill tube on the driver side and hooks into the air intake.

So we have a breather that comes stock?

My S and B had a little bit of oil where that tube attaches to the intake the other day. The intake tube was dry, though. Plus my throttle body had a little bit of oil on the bottom of it even though I have a BT catch can and keep it emptied regularly. I wonder if a catch can could be put on that line also?

Ok thanks. I work in a really dusty environment and I wouldn't want it to cake up ya know.
