Snorkel

I like trails with rivers and such, my buddies are planning a trip for next weekend to go somewhere kind of warm with some rivers and puddles so I want to waterproof my truck on case of some bigger mud holes and such. I'm looking to make a snorkel does anybody have any good suggestions of supplies ill need? I'm not trying to spend $400+ for a snorkel I'm trying to make a decent looking one for around $120-150 within a day or so. Ideas and suggestions are very welcome!

Measure from throttle body to where you will want the inlet, every little angle then go to home depot and begin your piece together with 3 inch or 4 inch pvc pipe.

ABC is preferred to PVC
Most if not all kits go through the fender and up the a pillar
You can find a few pre cleaner options here

Not much to it past that other then figureing out the routing, making sure the whole thing is sealed and drilling a hole in you fender

Might want to look into the axle breather tubes as well

Best one I have seen that were home made used the cap that a H1 uses and came up right at the firewall in the middle of the windshield.
