We had snow in our forecast which is hard to believe. I wake up early so I can let my employees know if we're working or not. Since I have cameras in my driveway I just went to live view and we have about 5in lol. This is the most snow we had all winter so far. Wish this crap weather would go away lol. We hit 75deg 3 weeks ago now snow thanks oregon.Screenshot_20220411-025814_Ring.jpg

Wanna see our snow?

We live on Superior, heavy wet snow. Still two feet where we are. View is my back door when snow dumps off roof!
I manage to keep one door open all winter. Now I know why older homes up here seemed to have a door up in the air on the upper floor!
I think we are done now though

We got snowed on camping this weekend. April and May still mean accumulating snow here in the Mountains of PA. Even have had snow showers into June. So, the thought is never out of our mind.

The confused weather of April keeps people away from the campgrounds and for that, I am thankful.

Yeah you guys can keep that weather lmao. I prefer my snow to stay in the mountains. then I can decide if I want to visit not the other way around lmao. We do not get much snow beside the mountains around here so when we do we don't work. All this snow will be melted by lunch.

We need all the moisture we can get. With our reservoirs drying up, the farmers in Arizona and other areas not able to plant many of their crops, and an extra 2 million a year coming in we will be lucky to have drinking water.

I live in southern New England and although its not common, it's also not unheard of to get snow in April here. Fortunately for us this year there's nothing in the forecast but rain

typical winter here in western Oregon is rain starts in October and doesn't stop till may or july. we rarely get a water shortage around here but the last 4 years the revivors are still pretty emty. we have gotten a lot of snow the last 4 years but not the rain we normally do.

I always thought one day they'd build a water pipeline across the country to fill the water reservoirs during droughts from the coasts. If you're going to run trillion dollar budgets I say throw it in there.

makes too much sense for a trillion dollar budget.

Our San Diego news is talking about snow in the Carolinas

Our mountain areas may get some snow at 7,000+ feet
calling for some rain & low 30s temps

......................................................

We do have a Water Canal that goes from close to the Oregon Border, down to Los Angeles
It was a life saver for many years
Then some Save the FISH group said that when that water was pumped over the mountains north of Los Angeles, that the pumps were killing some itty bitty fish that is almost extinct.
It is called the Delta Smelt, it gets up to 3" long

They quit pumping water over the mountain in 2007, the water used to irrigate all the Agriculture land & fill the reservoirs for Human use

Right? Here in SE Indiana we have more than enough damn rain, I'd be glad to send it to the folks who need it.

We do get snow in April occasionally. This was 2018:
