I'm not very familiar with the R/T. But, looking up the specs and it had the 5.7 with 3.92. I have a 2015 CC with 5.7 and 3.92. So, do I basically have a crew cab R/T? What other performance specs make up an R/T?

Thought R/Ts were only in regular cab short beds.

That is correct. I was just wondering if I (basically) had the same setup in my CC.

Mechanically yes I believe they just have different tq converters. I’m guessing a diffent tune maybe. But after that it’s all cosmetic

Once they went to the 8 speed the r/t has the same torwur converter as all the other models as well as the same engine tune. The differences are cosmetic plus perhaps different suspension settings.

R/T is more than just engine and rear end... it has cosmetic and interior upgrades as well.

It’s not an R/T unless it’s a standard cab.
You can put a Viper engine in your truck and it still won’t be a Viper. Lol

In Mexico you can buy 4 door R/T's plus 4X4 regular cab R/T's,only in the States and Canada are the R/T's technically a 2 door regular cab 2X4 with 3.92's.Although the ones in Mexico are just rebadged Sports,they're still listed in R/T build numbers.

R/T's were also called 'sports/ with R/T badging, different shocks, springs, interior, etc. They also came in Crewe cabs but only had the Sport badging on them, except I've seen four 2016's with R/T emblems on grill and tailgate. Hummm

You can buy the R/T emblem on Ebay and put it on anything . I have even seen a wannabe with it in the grille of a 4x4. To me it just takes away any creditability the driver may of had before he even speaks .

You apparently haven't checked the R/T build numbers.You can get 4X4 R/T's and 4 door R/T's in Mexico. Only in Canada and the States are R/T's a 2X4 truck. Fiat does sell trucks outside of the States / Canada,and other countries do get different versions of trucks then we do .

No, a bighorn SLT is a completely different trim package below the R/T. There are good number of differences between your truck and an R/T

R/Ts are basically single cab short box sport models with a different rear end. I put R/T emblems on mine but it has the standard rear end and a 6 spd on column. R/Ts also stickered for 37-40000, I drove mine home for basically 20 grand. Was a leftover 14 in late 2015
