That is some ridiculous payload, wow.

Was at the dealership today looking for a steal but all they had were Cummins in HD......I want the 6.4.

My dealer rarely has 6.4 trucks in 2500/3500 form, and they sell fast when they do. They had to do a dealer trade to get my truck. They do have a 4500 crew cab Laramie 6.4/Aisin combo that has been sitting for months. Beautiful truck, but way to nice for a gas 4500. Would make an awesome camper hauler though.

Just for grins I drove a 2020 with the 6.7 the other day. Definitely doesn’t have the giddy up the 6.4/ZF8/4.10 combo has empty but it was a sweet driving machine. The thought of trading briefly crossed my mind, then the cost of maintenance and having to be cognizant about fuel quality kind of blew a hole in that. The one thing the 2020 did have was ice cold AC....

Wife's van will not clear the garage door by 3 inches. My truck is 2 feet, or more, longer. What vehicles are they using for these "two car" garages?
In our garage is a 2015 z06-07 corvette, a bmw x5 and a ford escape along with 3 motorcycles. Hate leaving the truck outside especially with Pennsylvania winters. I order the Wool wax kit and will apply that to the bottom next week. Already spent a week Ceramic coating it in stages. Had to wait for days where no rain was projected. hard thing to do in Pittsburgh.

Very nice ride!

(I'd write more but I'm heading down to local Ram dealer so I can "look around" and see if anyone will throw a 2020 at me...)

Went just to look to see what the dealer had for 2500's...had two, and one was already going for a dealer trade, the other one was a Laramie. Was kind of disappointed they didn't have a bigger selection for 2020's on the lot....so I asked them about the only other HD truck there. So, I am picking this up on Friday...2019 left over. e8cd88cba07f9113b91cccd3073c9c25.jpg59317dae9f4da78096d3a47839bd4e52.jpg1c6cbea12c19ef563247a77df899ab68.jpg997645a6d88ea4491b6bcdc23d12166a.jpg6a03af0603ddc2125f5df4c8a5094358.jpg

I feel ya. Our 2018 3500 CC Dually was a left over dealer trade. We've had it a year and love the hell out of it. We only went to look also. Congrats on your purchase.

I installed WeatherTech splash guards today. It definitely keeps the trash to a minimum from coming up the rockers and side panels. The WeatherTech's fit awesome, and look like a factory option.

I don't know how true this is, but the sales person told me after getting my truck, some guy ordered this truck and then tried to scam them out of it with a bogus check. I guess the salesman that got this truck figured out what the guy was trying to do and shut it down before the truck disappeared...

I know this is a old post. But I have to order the same configuration I need 5k + payload to haul water 3 miles each way 1 time a week I would destroy a diesel with 6 mile trips.

Make sure you block up whatever tank you are using so it doesn't slide forward and push the back of the box up to the cab...

Running the I90 thruway in the high 70's empty I got a little better than 13MPG. Average a little better than 10 to 11 MPG running around. But that's me mostly, I switched out the muffler and like hearing it rumble.
