You might be able to find some used OEM flares on eBay for a good price, but if you’re wanting new, you’d probly be better off with something in the aftermarket because these stock flares ain’t cheap. ‘Bout 180 bucks a piece average from other Mopar parts sites.

As far as your sport bumper, start hittin’ up your junkyards.

You might want to wait on the flares until you get the bumper installed. The "sports" type bumper and the "chrome" type bumper can use different style OEM flares. Most guys with the sports bumper used the 2500 OEM flares and the chrome bumpers use the OEM 1500 flares. Check a few of the threads to see the difference in the way they look.

What he ^^^ said.

SLT means two things on a 2017 1500... 1) it was previously a fleet truck, and 2) chrome, chrome, and more chrome.

So... ideas:

You can get a paintable new grille from lots of places (rockauto.com is a good place to start - they're a vendor here too) for roughly $200, and then you can murder it out in black with little effort yourself, plastidip it if you feel like the rubberized look, or have a bodyshop hit it with matching paint for (umm, a lot more). Bumpers you will want to get first though, for reasons PullYa mentioned (unless you're getting some aggressive-looking custom thingy, in which case, well...)

Maybe for the grille you can hit up the junkyards first, and perhaps hope they got a painted grille with matching color? Odds are pretty decent from the color I'm seeing, and definitely worth a few phone calls.

An alternative would be to plastidip the bumper, then get a bull bar or grille guard bolted on that'll accommodate fog lights.

In my case, I loves the chrome (within reason), so for me it's probably going to be a tasteful grille guard with a small lightbar to act as fog lights.

I felt your pain. Had the same crappy SLT bumper. I follow CL adds for Ram parts. It took a year before some sport bumpers came around. If you don't want to fork the cash to buy new, searching and waiting for a used set is the way to go.

Keep in mind:

-Will need a paintable rear bumper as well.
-If someone's selling a front, they likely might have the rear. If you don't have dual exhaust, that rear bumper likely will.
--in that case you get to swap to dual exhaust.
-Your going to need to create your own feed to power those fog lights.
-- chances are you are going to have to have those bumpers painted, unless you get lucky.

While I was waiting for a deal to come around, I plastidipped my chrome to hold me off, just because I needed that chrome gone.

That was my experience!
