That definitely sucks. That's definitely a smart way of doing it. I'm assuming you have but I'll ask anyway, have you spoke to your bank about waving the overdraft fees? If you can get rockauto to give something in writing about triple charging you on a single purchase maybe the bank will wave the fees

Yea I've had similar things happen in the past and my bank(s) have always waived the fees. It should be pretty easy to convince them that this was a mistake on RockAuto's part, if your bank still tries to stick you with the fees I would say it's time to find a new bank.
