Good Evening Fellas,
I bought a set of TYC Projectors from Jeremy over at RetroShop. I had them do the blackout package on them which means they opened them up. Well, during the first hand wash (never goes through a carwash), I noticed a slight fogging in the lights. I emailed them as this was very concerning since I spent $1,600 on these lights and they produce quality work out of their shop. They emailed back and stated it was normal and because it was warm out and the water was so cold, it caused some fogging and would go away. They explained it like a mirror in a bathroom that fogs when you shower. Well, last Sunday (10/24/21) it was around 48-50 outside and low humidity and I drove the truck a few miles to my GF's 5k and then back home. Noticed a lot of fog on the inside. It cleared by the evening and I thought that MAYBE since it was the first coolish morning that I had driven it with the lights on, that is what caused it and it would be fine. No. Tonight it is 48 and a slight rain/mist and they are fogged up so bad. If this was "normal" then every single car on the road would have this issue. I have attached some photos to see if you guys would consider this "normal" or an issue. I say issue, but after all it is my truck and my $1,600.
I'll have to attach the photos below from my phone as the computer hates the files I saved them as.
