What the heck you "Sorry" for?
Reg cabs 6ft beds still the best lookin trucks made, I don't get this latest fad of bigger, bigger, bigger. That only means heavier, slower, poorer handling, and much more expensive.. They'll have to prey my 2006 1500 ST steering wheel out of my cold dead hands to get it away from me....bought it new and ain't givin it up.
Enjoy that beautiful truck and the fact it didn't cost the same as a house!

At 6'4", the few single cab truck rides I've had were unbearable for me. Like a tiny truck prison.
What's your height got to do with it big guy? Head, leg, shoulder, hip rooms all the same.
Only difference is in your head.

Maybe in those trucks, but that's not true for every car manufacturer.

For the majority of vehicles, even my wife's 02 envoy, I have to set the seat back all the way so my knee isn't smashed into the dah and console and lean the seat back so my head isn't smashed into the roof.

Same for my dads rogue.

The single cab ram may have same hip, head room, but has the inability to recline.

For me the recline has more to do with my lumbar and cervical spine issues than height.

My only question is do dealers make you take a picture with them after you sign that note lol. I have bought three vehicles in the last 4 years and I think my 'all business' buying vibe makes them think I would say no to a request. And theyre right haha. However on their FB pages I always see people taking pics with their salesman.

My dealer (S.E Georgia) did the same thing. I assume if you are attractive or have a certain look they'll use it on their website as "satisfied customer".. Or worse blow it up and put it out in front.

The "Regular" Cab is still way bigger than they used to be.

I agree!

Nice truck. I personally think single cab trucks look awsome!! It's almost impossible to find a used one (4x4) around here ...that isn't a stripped-down work truck. Enjoy!

I found that may be true with Toyota and GM, but not the RAM. The RAM seat reclines quite a bit even when fully set back. Now if you don't wear a hat or otherwise have some insulation on your head, it may get cold riding in below zero weather. The top of your head being so close to the rear window :).

My first truck was an 01 f150 superman. God I hated those half suicide doors.

I remember trying to put my daughters car seat in the back and it would only fit between the seats, albeit smashed between them.

I mostly put her in the front seat and turned the airbag off. (Could do it with the key)

No one, it a small child could fit in it with an adult in the front. It couldn't gold many groceries either.

I vowed my next truck be a 4 door. Enter the ram crew cab.

I hope in the last few years they add some extra recline room in the regular cabs. For me personally besides room for me, there isnt much room to do anything else. Of course you can get a tonneau cover, and other systems. But having to add so much to make it useable.

Its like a miata, but with a cargo bed

Congrats on the new truck

She is definitely a beauty, no denying that. That's a good red color.

Good thing these trucks come in so many varieties, what's good for me, not for you, and so on.

Whatever it is, we can meet in the middle on the fact we rock the Ram and the Hemi.

I have a 14 R/T. In my opinion it is the most responsive truck I have ever owned. Touch the gas pedal and it wants to go. Many bells and whistles on the inside as well.

To the OP~Nice ride. :)

Part of me thinks that a short bed single cab is the ONLY way to go although I think the club cab is a damn good alternative to a single cab. My current truck is a CPO and did replace a Dakota Club that I thought served most purposes including a short trip with 5 guys in the cab for a short drive from point A to point B shortly after getting it. Not exactly comfy, but acceptable! :D
