Finally getting around to a quick review after installing new speakers last week. I bought two sets of Sound Ordnance 6.5 inch components. Sound Ordnance is Crutchfield's house brand and is geared for the budget shopper. They normally run $100 per pair but they were on sale for $50 per pair and come with a 3 year warranty so I figured it was worth a shot.
I've got to say I'm really surprised at the quality considering these things were such a good deal. They are not fancy and don't look it but if you are going for quality sound on a budget you can't go wrong. They are not a high end set of components so I know they don't sound the same as something you would spend $300 on but when you spend $100 you shouldn't expect that. The highs are super clear and only need to be on the lower setting on the crossover and you don't need a big amp for them. I have them running off of my Kenwood Deck and they get loud enough for me. Bass isn't great but better than factory 6x9's...that's what subs are for anyway! And since I bought them from Crutchfield they came with everything for installation!
Oh yeah - I cleaned up the wires after I took photo's too!
