I've got an 04 QC and I've got some Kicker 6x9's in my front doors and a 12 inch Kicker Comp C under the back seats. It seems like the sound coming from the door speakers is tinny and it sounds like it's resonating loudly within the doors of the truck. What could I do to eliminate this on a budget? I looked at Dynamat but it's more than I can afford to buy enough material to cover all 4 doors and poorly insulated areas inside the truck.

Maybe it's your ears?

I've heard of people using the adhesive backed stuff from Home Despot and/or Lowes in place of Dynamat. The chief complaint about that stuff is the smell when installing and for a while afterwards till it cures.
