Speaker help

hey guys,

just looking to upgrade my door speakers, prob just the fronts, not the backs.

I dont want to have to hook them up to a amp or anything, want them to be able to run off the hu.

cant wait to hear your suggestions.

go into Best Buy, look at the Kicker DS if no amp is going to be applied.

I agree on the Kicker DS units. Also look at the Infinity Reference speakers. Great bang for the buck. Not sure how they sound without an amp but if your head unit puts out at least 30W that will work.

sorry to thread jack for a sec Cody, but will aftermarket speakers make a big difference over stock if you dont hook them up to an amp? I want to get some new ones too but not sure how important an amp is

Nick, Yes, I just replaced my factory with Kicker KS and huge gains, even have the factory radio.

Ya any time you replace those factory pos paper speakers with aftermarket stuff youll notice a difference.

Also have the kickers in mine and love them
