I have a 2012 Ram 1500 crew cab that I’m upgrading the stereo a bit. I had the original radio that started failing intermittently. I just installed a KENWOOD DDX5706S head end unit from Crutchfield and so far I’m happy to have music back. CarPlay is super awesome. Now comes time to upgrade the factory speakers a bit. I wasn’t planning anything but maybe a slight change. I love a good deal so I found a JL Audio's SB-D-QDRAMD/10TW1 Stealthbox with 2 x 10”subs with a Kenwood Excelon X501-1 amp.
I don’t have the sub wired yet. I need to order some wiring. Probably Crutchfield CK4 with 4g wire just in case I decided to upgrade amp.
My question is now I feel like I will need to change all the door and dash speakers so they aren’t completely blown away by the sub and become an easy fix and not a weak link. Can I get away without a amp for the door speakers to save some money? The head end puts out 22w.
What speakers will give me a good balance without breaking the bank?
Front doors?
Dash (I guess I plan on adding resistors?)
Rear doors?
Thanks for all the advise

Maybe a better question is why do you have paired with JL stealth box and are you satisfied?
