Hello everyone,

Just want to introduce myself since I’m new to mopar fam. Had a Yukon Denali prev but really needed a truck to work out of and have always liked the 4th gen Rams and finally found one at the price I wanted.

Anyway so I’ve been wanting to upgrade the audio as I do in everything I own. And thought I’d post the build process. This is for 2013 Big Horn. 8.4 NA 6speaker.

I have removed dash speakers and front doors and replaced with Pioneer TS-Z 65CH. I made my own adapters for the 6.5s myself out of acrylic sheets from menards and I’ll post pics as well. I am putting the tweeters in the sail panels and I may end up doing a 3 way if I can find a good match for the pioneer. Any suggestions welcome. I also have Pioneer TS-D65F’s for rear door but might have to wait till next weekend to do. Want to get front and sub and amps done and get back on the road

Line conversion is going to a DS 18 V5HL

Amplifiers- Pioneer GMD8604/JL 500/1v2
Sub- Pioneer TS D10D4
Also putting an Epicenter in for Sub as well

Well I am about halfway through I have doors done and one sail panel one more to go and then I can power it on and tune it and see how it sounds.

I’d like to thank anyone who has posted anything audio related for there knowledge I appreciate it. I hope I can help out in ttime

While you have the doors opened up you should add some sound deadening. It makes a huge difference.

I don’t do my own installs (I know where my talents end). The shop used Dynamat. A little more expensive than some out there, but it’s been the standard for decades for a reason.
