New to the forum.. I was thinking about putting in Pioneer TS-D6902R 6x9's in the back doors and Pioneer TS-D1720C 6.75 components in the front doors, and maybe some kicker 3.5's in the dash. Is anyone currently using Pioneer speakers in their truck and do you like the way they sound. I am going to get a amp at a later time.

I have always liked the way Pioneer speakers sound, especially their higher end stuff.
Their component sets and 6x9's for that matter generate a lot of midbass which is a plus for me. They are not very clear in the high frequencies...their tweeter(s) whether it be seperates, or a 2/3way speaker configuration have never impressed me. They have a very warm, midbass sound tho.

Thanks for the reply, I am going to go with the pioneers, the 6x9's are enough base for me. I may add a 4 channel amp at a later date, I don't need it real real loud, the kid next door to me you can hear him from a block away. Again thanks...
