I have a 2015 ram 1500 sport with a 8.4 inch Uconnect radio. I was wanting to upgrade two door speakers with some JL (c2-690tx). The peak power for these speakers are 225 watts. Would i be ok with not getting an amp? I have the alpine sound system that came with it.

They will work ok as they are 70w rms, which is more important than Peak, I pretty much ignore peak numbers. Plus they have a sensitivity of 93db so they will be more efficient so not needing much power to get their full potential.
