Hoping someone out there knows whats going on with my 2012 Ram 3500, 4x4, 6 speed, 6.7 liter.
ABS light on, traction control light on, EM brake light on, speed way, off. All happened at once.
Dealer told me my tires are the wrong size so I know they are clueless.
Took it to a good shop for diesels, as well but they couldn't figure it out either.

Dealer took a guess and replace the speed module? That only lightened my wallet.

It was probably the speed sensor that the dealer replaced and that's one possibility.

I suspect the front control module is glitched. Any other front dash lights or controls not working properly?

Did you get the codes pulled? Those will help but I can't figure out why, if they did it, the dealer couldn't figure that out.

Did you or any of the shop's try disconnecting the batteries and let the computers drain for 30 Minutes? If its not throwing any codes its a bunch of rabbit holes to jump down. If you power down the glitch might clear itself out (Hopefully) or may not do it all at once when they relearn.

Well...the first thing I did was disconnect batteries to try to clear it. No luck
Second thing I did was took it to a Ram dealer. They first said wrong tire size, but tires have been on form 3 years so thats clearly not the issue, then they said its the tuner (mini max), but thats been on for 4 years so thats not the problem. Then they said they connected some diagnostic tool to the front tires were reading same speed, but a different speed than both back tires. They reasons a bad speed sensor would show a single wheel speed off, not both axles different speeds. So they recommended replacing the ABS module, which they did and no change.
The Third thing i did was call a reputable shop, described the history, and asked if they thought they could fix it.
The said they would give it a shot so I dropped it off. They also questioned the ABS module and though maybe it had not been programmed by the dealer. Him hawed around a bit, before telling me they cant fix it.
The fourth thing I did was call the service manager at the dealer, who assured me the module had been activated.
Im not quite ready to run it off a cliff, but Im getting there.

Sorry to hear that man, its bs when the manufacturers of the truck can’t even figure out what’s wrong with it, smh.

Nowadays a tech has to be a computer wiz and a mechanic!
