I have a 2012 ram 1500 and right now I have a 2.5" leveling kit and a 3" body lift. I have 33" tires and I sit about eye to eye with my buddies '10 Chevy 1500 with 6" lift on 33's as well. The front of my truck sits just a lil over half a inch lower than the rear and I want to get a bigger lift out of it thinking of doing away with the leveling kit in the front and putting a 4.5" spindle lift in the front with a 1.5" spacer in the rear. I was also thinking about doing the 7" suspension lift but idk if it's going to be too tall with the body lift. If anyone has a 7" lift with 3" body lift, or 4.5" spindle with 3" body lift please share your pics. Anyone with knowledge of this please let me know because I am wanting to get something within the next 2 weeks or so. Thanks!

Im running the 4.5" spindle lift from maxtrac and love it! I had a 2.5" level when I first started with this truck too. My recommendation - get the 4.5" spindle lift and the 3" rear coil lift from Maxtrac. If you only do a 1.5" spacer in the back (as I also did) you'll be sitting too bull-doggish. Unless you like that look. Otherwise the 4.5" spindles and 3" rear lift will lift and level the truck perfect.

I'd definitely go with the Maxtrac spindles or even the full kit and have a big beast! Either way will look good and ride good but hey, I might be a little biased :Big Laugh:

I have the max Trac 7/3 and 1.5 spacers out back. I wanna get a 3 inch bl some time next year. I stand 5.8 (maybe that's y I have a big truck lol) and the mirror should be at my eyes when done on 37s

I am running the maxtrac 4.5" spindle with the 3" coil in the back. This is what it sits like on 35x12.5's. I went with the 3" coil over the 1.5" spacer to keep some rake for towing. It's a lot better than my 09 2wd CC I had with spacers.

Your truck may not sit identical to mine. My truck only had a 1.5" rake in the front from the factory. The 4.5" / 3" lifted and leveled my truck a complete 3". So if your truck only has a 1.5" factory rake, then your truck will look just like mine :)

What's the best way to tell how much rake you have from the factory? I'm trying to figure out if I need to go with 1.5 or 3 inch in the back with the spindles.

Measure the truck on flat ground. I measured to the middle of the wheel well front and rear. That's how I chose mine.
