Bought those covers off ebay for my express to cover up those flat black plastic ones ....went to the dealer bought the matching spay paint for my truck to paint them also ... can't tell that good from the pics .....but I like it alot better

Sorry to resurrect an old thread- but how did these hold up (both paint and adhering to the truck)? Is the coverage of the plastic ebay covers decent? I'm looking to cover my chrome ones and am worried about seeing a sliver of chrome behind.

i bought these for my Big Horn last week. They are at the body shop now getting painted to match the Brilliant Black of my truck. They are painted gloss black from the supplier, and this is yet another reason I despise the brilliant Black paint. I could have used them as is, if the truck was regular black paint. Give me basic black any day over the so called black metallic that looks gold in the sun.
I tried mine on the truck before taking them for paint. There is a small corner of silver that shows on the handle looking directly down on it. From the side it looks fine.
I'll take pictures when mine are mounted on the handles.
