Anyone running a sport rack on there trucks? Looking to get one but not sure which.. Go rhino looks nice but post some pics and feedback!

Going on a Laramie Maximum Steel Metallic.

You looking for bed or roof racks? I have Rhino. Not many folks running racks on here. I think maybe @RAYDEL PORTO is running roof racks as well.

Mostly appearances but also tie down spot for larger items.

We used to call them light bars in the 90s. Personally, I would look at headache racks. A bit more sturdy and can also be a tie down point.

I like the way that looks a lot! How much more does that hurt your MPG?


Not sure on how much it hurts mpg, if at all. It was the last thing I put on after lift, tires and light bar, so my mpg was pretty much killed already. Plus I installed exhaust, CAI and tuner last year, so I had a lot of small fluctuations in mpg during the year with all the various changes.

If I recall correctly the light bar knocked off about .5 mpg, so I can't imagine the racks would do much more since they are more aerodynamic (minus the rack pads). I also don't think there would be any difference for city driving, probably would only see impact on the freeway.

Nick@gotexhaust is about to install the same set. Maybe he can give you an idea of any change in MPG once he has them on.
