Squeak from driveline

Guys,

I have been looking all week trying to find someone with the same SQUEAK from the drive line I have. Its a 4.7 1500 w/ 82000 miles on her. Here is what i have done already to try to find the source.

- Jacked the rear end up and pulled out my j-stands
- looked for play, had none
- turned the truck on and put her in drive, crawled back under to find the sound and seem to be coming from the center if the drive shaft (resonating). Had 3 others listen to it from under there and all stumped.

I'm the 3rd owner, drives 20 mile a day no off road.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Does it sound kinda like a chirp [like a bird]?
Does it become more frequent the faster you go?
I'm willing to bet it's a dry/fixin ta go u joint [sometimes they are not loose the just let go].

Yea a chirp and goes away after 30 mph

Check your U-Joints. Like fla said one or both may be getting ready to fail.

YUP
Front U-joint had 1 bad cap. Completely dry and seized.
Dealership - $750
Local Mech - $300
Self job - $60.27

Took about 4 hrs with the rain stopping progress. Loan-a-tool at Autozone for the press
$100 deposit.
