Can’t speak on these in particular but with black comes rust. My bull bar did ok this winter and my side steps but they already have rusted paint chips. As an OCD person this drives my nuts lol.

If stainless or chrome are not an option I HIGHLY recommend maybe a thorough application of a high quality truck bed liner or have it done at line x etc.

Reason I didn’t do mine is the bull bar is very easily removed, smaller and cheaper. When the day comes I’ll just replace it. You on the other hand will be covering more surface area and paying more than I did most likely.

I have a full front and back Ranch hand replacement bumper on my 2013 in black, and they have zero rust. People have hit and scraped up against my front and rear bumpers multiple times and the paint from the opposing vehicle was left on my bumpers. Still no rusty spots at all.

Same with my Ranch Hand Grill Guards. They have a good powder coat paint job

I have the black horse grill guard on my 15 ram. I really like it. Got it for like $250 on a black Friday sale. I personally don't like other guards. I like that they're very thick and durable but I think they look ugly.

My guard has two spots for a little cube led. Could probably run a single led bar and use both spots.

I say 4/5 on mine. I can stand and jump on it without it budging (I weigh 200lbs) but I feel like if I hit something it wouldn't be as protective as a $500 one but I'm sure it will still work well.

I had a full brush guard on my last truck, but went with a chrome bull bar and 22" led light bar on this one. Love how the bar matches the running boards and wheels

I have a Ranch Hand front and back on my '12 2500... Survived an 80mph crash on the interstate with NO damage to my truck other than a little dent on the lower part of the bumper. I wouldn't have another truck without Ranch Hand's front and back...

Whoever says they're crap are probably just mad they don't make them in chrome bling for going to the grocery store or Home Depot's garden center...

LOL - out here in the West a Cattle Guard is the set of horizontal rails set into the roadway to keep cattle in a fenced area (an invisible gate).

Same same, but i've never been one to quibble, when smashing into a 3,000 lb cow at 65 mph it is appreciated to have a guard from the cattle :p

Update: Got it all bolted on :)

I parked under a tree, threw a couple of lawn chair cushions over the hood for protection, and used a pair of ratcheting cargo straps tossed over a low tree branch to hold it up while I adjusted it in place.

(the assembly process, in a nutshell... just after I removed the straps that held it up.)
