SRS Light and Stability Light

New to forum...looking for some help. The other day I went to move my truck (2013 Ram 2500 5.7) and my steering was gone. My steering wheel just spun freely around several times. I found a bolt had broken off at the steering control box so I replaced and regained my steering. But at the same time this happened I had my SRS Light and Stability Light come on on the dash. As I am driving the SRS Light will some times flicker like it might be a bad ground or a shorted wire...driving today the stability light went off and I was able to use my cruise control. My steering wheel controls all work. I had a few friends say Yaw sensor and/or clock spring.

Has anyone had any similar problems or have any advice as to where to start looking for a fix... TIA!!

was working on my vw couple years ago, had steering disconnected. kid was playing with steering wheel, turned it to far and broke the ribbon cable. because of that, there was no power to airbag, so got airbag light, and cruise control didnt work.

its possible you damaged the ribbon but didnt completely rip it, taking out your airbag but still leaving you with cruise control

When you replaced that bolt, you needed to replace the steering wheel to its original position. If your wheels were facing straight, and your steering wheel was at 12:00, then you turn the steering wheel 1 revolution but the wheels don’t turn. If you reconnect the steering wheel to the wheels at this point, the vehicle now thinks you’re driving in circles when you’re going straight

Thanks for the reply. I will definitely have to check and make sure i have the steering back where it should be.
