I have a 2012 1500 Express and I'm thinking of adding SRT 8 Jeep Exhaust manifolds...they are a definite upgrade from the turds that are on there now...
I know there is a build thread on here or the "Z" forum for the edition of SRT Exhaust Manifolds but I CAN'T FIND IT!!! searched every F'n way i could think of...No Luck.
If anyone has any info they can pass along it will be greatly appreciated!!!!

They are good for about 5-8hp/tq...true shorties are only giving us about 8-10hp/tq. I would old off and do it right with a set of longtubes that are showing closer to 25hp/tq.

You will need to beat in one of the primaries to clear the frame on the driver's side and pay attention to the clearance between the header and the steering shaft knuckle. Aside from that they will bolt right up and you'll just need to get a mid-pipe made that will clear the transmission pan. It's worth getting a proper set of headers though as the gains are minimal.

If you are going to go through the trouble of ripping off your stock manifolds then I would just throw some long tubes on.

Maybe depending on the price of the SRT manifolds it's not worth the price of longtubes. If there wasn't a modification to the SRT manifolds I would have put them on the truck before longtubes because I have a friend who has a set that would give them to me for free lol.

Unless I picked them up for free I would just go with JBA's for shorties. However, I'm waiting till I have the pocket change for a set of Kooks.

Who knows? Maybe he is trying to stay EPA compliant.
HaHa!!! f the EPA!!!
I got them for next to nothing...
if I could I would go long tube but its not in the budget.
I appreciate all the imput, thats kinda what I was hoping for.
Not sure 5-8hp will be worth it
