First off, i may have asked this before, but can not remember. so i apoligize.

in regards to the sherodon stage 3 valve body, I under stand it provides firmer shifting, but under grandpa driving conditions will it still shift hard?

Second: A little confused by the pricing on Moes one comes with the core and the other i need to take the core out of my valve body correct? and last but not least, how difficult is it to change out that core.

Thanks for the help.

From their site:
Stage - III Valve body had been reworked to increase shifting firmness over the Stage - II and FIRM SOLID/HARSH shifts in every gear.

I don't think they intended it for daily drivers (unless you like your trans this way).

I have the stage 3 vb on my truck and i didnt send my core on... it was $3XX something cant remember the exact price.

You can notice it shift a little harder under normal driving conditions, but nothing that is annoying IMO. However when you step on it and are driving your truck you do feel it more. It is a more aggressive shift, but is still good for a daily driver. It is for me.

sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3

I run it as well, around town it's slightly more firm, mainly it's quicker and snappy instead of slow and slushy like stock. Biggest difference is under WOT.

Also I think you have the core confused, it's not a part, it's a core charge, where you send back your old valve body and they refund the amount of the core charge. Without the core, you pay less up front but you get none back. But you also don't need to send off your old valve body.

I have a stage III with a 2800 stall, it drives normal on the street. WOT it chirps 2nd gear. IMO, makes an excellent street mod. But I think needs a higher stall converter to play nice...

those 4.10's gotta have something to do with the 2nd gear chirp, cause mine wont do it. Maybe its the tire size difference.

optional but i would also keep in mind that you may want to do a quick learn done at the dealership after install. It was around $100 at my local dealer.
