Anyone having this issue?

2021 1500 limited with etorque.

while coming to stop sign I slowed down and around 2-4 mph the truck stalls out then applies the emergency brakes.

Today it happened again. This time it stalled around 5 mph and my park assist started blinking. I pulled off the side of the road and once I came to a complete stop the shifter went from drive to park automatically and applied the brake.

I’m taking it in next Tuesday. Curious to see if anyone else is experiencing this issue

Truck has 16k miles. Not even a year old yet.

your battery might be faulty or the ECM might need an update in any respect I would take it to the dealer that will reimburse you for the tow I wouldn’t risk driving it.
Maybe a good time to hit up a friend with an auto club membership?

I've seen other threads about this issue. As far as I've seen, no solution has been found yet. Please follow up after your dealer visit. So far I haven't seen this issue with my 2021 Limited w/etorque. I have stop/start disabled with an autostop eliminator. But some of the people who have posted about having this issue say it happens even with stop/start disabled.

Dropped it off at the dealer today in San Jose. I’ll update when I get my truck back!
Seems strange to have so many issues with a new truck. Took it in for loose sway bar links, seat heater, alignment and that stalling issue.
Hope I don’t have a lemon

What does an ECM update do?

~100 cases reported on another forum. It’s an eTorque problem.

Issue now is 2022’s are still reporting stalling, but the TSB doesn’t cover them.

Had same issue. sounds nuts but I replaced the hood switch, $18. Fixed stalls and the auto start stop needs service message.

So did I and since the update the start/stop function has not worked. Nice way to update a faulty system, just disable it.

So now it doesnt start/stop at all? might make me more inclined to have the update done, lol. I haven't done the update yet.

Well, I would be fine with it not working but I want a rebate on the purchase of the e-torque and compensation for the higher fuel economy.

Well odly enough the v8 upgrade is 2795$ and the etorque system is the exact same price, so probably not going to get a rebate on that... and so far based on what I get while driving my truck and others who dont have the etorque system get, the fuel economy is pretty much the same...
