Well i recently installed a factory oem camera on my 2015 ram 2500. I read all 78 pages of the oem camera thread, but couldnt find my issue. I doeble checked all steps and everything is hooked up correct.
When i got done i went to start my truck and nothing...( only starts when i use the remote start of key fob)
The radio doesnt light up and none of the lights for ac heat defrost heated seats exhaust brake towing brakes or anything on that panel lights up. The heat and ac works but thats it. The heated seat red button illuminates momentarily then goes out and never heats up along with the stearing wheel heater.
A couple thing i done while install that were not in the directions were i unlocked the column shifter under the boot to lower into drive, so i could remove the dash panel. Also i had removed wires 1,2 and three from the 52 way connector before my neighbor pointed out they were wrong and reinstalling them 1 gray, 2 blue, 3 light blue. Then i removed and replaced 31,32,33 all the while never putting it back together and trying it just simply determinating and re-terming.
The truck only starts with remote start, tailgate lock works good but broblem with radio concerns me. The dealership completely beats around the bush when asking for insight and i just want to make sure it is all right before i bring it to them to "flash" or "reprogram"
Any insight will be greatly appreciated.
