A video of the startup hesitation I'm getting on the 1st startup of the day. You can hear right before the engine fires up. Doesn't do it the rest of the day....only when I have the initial start. The dealership "doesn't hear it" when I leave it there overnight. It doesn't sound right to me. What do you guys think?? Is this normal for a Ram?

If they don't fix it soon I am going to wire up a switch. Pin #16 is the power and where you would wire the switch inline.

Turn off the power to the Trinity completely eliminating the battery drain.

What you see and hear is normal. The actual "delay" is less then a second.

my 6.4 even does that a little..when I first bought it a cold start set off a code for the check engine light showing a misfire in cylinder 6 but a PCM flash fixed it..

Yes, my 2009 will do it also. Probably just the system catching up to itself with the TIP start.

My 2011 and 2013 did/do this. Only the first start in the morning. Otherwise fine...
