Got in my truck this afternoon to leave work and it was dragging really bad. Took a few seconds to start but when it did, it ran normal. Drove to a friends house to pick up a load of bricks and when I got in to leave, it was dragging again but this time it fired up then died. Tried it a few more times and got the same thing. I've got to hold my foot on the gas to keep it running. After it runs for a few minutes, I can kill it and start it right back up and it will almost stall but catch before it dies. No CEL's or anything which is the confusing bit. I'm going to replace the TPS and IAC tomorrow and see if that fixes the problem. Anyone got any ideas what the heck is going on?

Here's a vid of a re-start after a 15 minute drive

You have the first 2 things areadly listed to check. I will rack my brain to see if I can come up with any other things to check also.

Got in it this morning to go to work and pick up parts and it started right up. Only problem I had was the first few stops, the rpm would drop to below 500 but pick right back up.
I'm still gonna swap the TPS and hope that fixes it

Swapped the TPS and it fired right up for a few hours then back to the same ****. Checked the battery and alternator and they're both good. Replaced the starter and no change.
I'm leaning towards something mechanical do to the fact of no CEL whatsoever. But I'm about out of ideas and tired of throwing money at the thing

My truck drops below 500 every once in awhile when it's cold. Stops doing it after it warms up. Check your plenum, maybe you got a bad leak. I think they cause the engine to do weird stuff like that

Cracked the blade on the tb and there's very little oil I can see. And I wouldn't think the plenum gasket leaking would cause all this at once

Any oil is bad, that means you got a blown plenum, mine doesnt have much either from what i can see but its still a bad leak

Definitely sounds like a IACV, check it to see if it has oil residual on it, if so your plenum gasket was most likely the culprit for making the IACV act up.
