I am considering getting one for my truck. I understand the purpose but, I wanted to get some real world feedback. Of the guys/gals that have one, would you consider it worth it? Did it improve your steering ? Would you do it again?

Also, thoughts on the different brands. I saw one from Rough Country and one from BD Diesel.

Thoughts?

I used the Synergy Brace from CJC Offroad. It worked for my Thuren Sway Bar install. Previously had the Rough Country which worked well . I did notice a difference in Steering Stability and it will take the stress off of the Steering box Shaft.

Did the rough country one not work with thuren sway bar? I’m about to add the track bar in and was wanting to get brace while I was under there.

I've had a HBS brace on my truck since I lifted it and put 37's on around 150,000 km ago. Steering is still good and tight with no issues. I'd definitely recommend installing one when putting any kind of tires on larger than stock. Bracing the steering box is never going to be a bad idea; especially with the amount of stress that is put on it.

Yea I dont have the active sway bar just using the stock so cant verify that but from what it looks like I would have to say you should be safe. The one I linked just connects to both frame rails and the factory steering box to just brace it really.
