I have a 2013 ram 1500. I paid a guy to detail the truck and after he finished and left I noticed the radio station changer button on the steering column didn't work. None of the switches plus the horn didn't work. I checked the fuses and they were all good. Then i noticed a plug under the steering column/ dash board was not plugged into anything. This plug looks kinda like a "X" an has black styrofoam wrapped around it. I cant find where to plug it in or if it should be plugged in. Any body know where this plug goes.Ram Plug.jpg

That's probably just an auxiliary plug. They use the SAME wiring harness on all the RAM's. As for the switch not working, most likely he got water into it and is grounding it out (they like using those detail brushes that forces water/cleaner into areas it shouldn't go). Your going to have to dry it out thoroughly. If it were my truck, I'd disassemble it and dry everything completely. Worst case is that you'll have to replace the switch. Blows my mind when I watch detailer's on Youtube DROWNING dashboards and such areas with loads of liquid cleaners then using detail brushes.......That is a 100% DON'T EVER DO!!
