I have a 2020 3500 Laramie dually diesel with button control for steering wheel heating. I push the button, light comes on for a few seconds and then off, no heating. It initially worked when I got the truck new.
I have tried replacing the fuse but no joy. Any ideas would be most appreciated.

That usually indicates a problem in the circuit, too low or too high resistance. Also, you could check the module under the drivers seat, check all the connections under the drivers seat.

Several possible issues might cause this behaviour but, as Harry mentioned, start with the basics.

My heated steering was behaving in this same fashion but fortunately, still under warranty.

The tech said the wiring harness inside the steering wheel was damaged, requiring replacement and the clockspring was also replaced.
