Steering wheel swap info needed

Hey all, so I've been looking at getting audio controls for my steering wheel in my 2016 Express. I was telling a buddy a mine that lives a few hours away from me what all I wanted to do to my truck and he stopped me when I got to the steering wheel. He said he has a 2016 Big Horn with everything already on it (no clock spring). Can I simply swap out mine for the other...plug and play?

I have a 2015 express, and I put a steering wheels from a Rebel in it. just bolt it in, and the steering wheel controls are work. (I did upgrade to the RA3 radio too)

Curious if you ever got around to it. I really love how the ram put the seek and volume switches in the back of the wheel. And hoping you are able to enjoy these features...

The original wheel I was getting fell through but I have another one on the way to me now. Everything ended up getting delayed a little bit and then there was a communication problem with the yard I was getting the other one from... Hopefully this weekend I will be swapping it in!

Got it installed earlier today. What a difference it made in look and feel. Didn't realize how much I missed having a leather wheel and being able to control the head unit.

Got it installed earlier today. What a difference it made in look and feel. Didn't realize how much I missed having a leather wheel and being able to control the head unit.

The truck is roomy. Even my behemoth self has to reach ever so slightly for things. The wheel controls make ridin' breezy. The only feature it doesn't have and I can't figure out why (my 02 envoy SLT has it) is the ability to adjust temp/fan speed from the wheel. If anyone knows if you can, please let me know.
