I continue to get steering wheel vibrations at 80 MPH. I balance and rotate my tires every 7,000 miles and even brought it to my dealer Ray Brandt Dodge, where they kept it for a week only to tell me I needed new tires, the old ones were the original tires. The new tires still vibrate. It is a horrible problem for an otherwise great truck. I did the alignment thing also. They are Bridgestone Duelers. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Those Bridgestone Duelers were part of 8 different tires to be recalled by Bridgestone ...

Also for some reason Bridgestone tires have always been horrible when it comes to balancing ... they honestly suck ...

I put new Michelin tires on and still deall with a vibration at just about 80 mph, this can't be normal, i has the alignment also which i feel was a waste. Is there anything else that can cause this?

If it's in the steering, it's possible it's one of the shocks. Another thing to have checked is to have the r̶i̶m̶s̶ hubs checked for run out.

I don't think they would have been able to balance his wheels on machine if he had a problem with one of his wheels

Oh they "can" balance it lol .... but correctly is another thing ....

What I would do is check to see how much weight you have on those front wheels, if you have more than 2 ounces on your front wheels that is not good ... put the wheels that have the least amount of weights on the front and see if that helps ...

I'm actually going to take my wheels rebalanced and check the alignment next week ... very slight vibrations when I was hitting 75, any higher or lower and it went away completely ....

Its going to be my front right that is giving me the vibrations I can already tell ... so I will rebalance, rotated criss cross aligned and good to go ....

So many issues that bad balanced wheels can cause, whether it's do to the wheel being damaged or bad tires, that's why I am always paying attention to my wheels and tires lol ....

Just went through having issues with vibrations. Had a shock slowly leak out from it. Went to 2 different tire shops that kept saying they were balanced. Took it to 4wp as they were the only local shop with a road force balancer and they did a dynamic balance as well. Had 1 tire test in the ok category. 1 tested good. The other 3 tested perfect. Had vibrations starting at 45mph that got worse the faster I went. Swapped the ok tire to the spare and am using the good tire. Would have had to buy 5 new tires if I didn’t have the 5th. No more vibrations after the dynamic balance.

If the vibration isn’t full time it is most probably a balance problem. Full time vibration is normally an alignment issue.

Thanks for the great advice, I have never dealt with a more sensitive issue. Obviously the big problem is the time this all takes, most dealerships take at least 3 days to look at it.
