Bought a piece of alcantara suede from Amazon and some carbon fiber trim pieces and made my own custom steering wheel. I really want one of those fancy modded steering wheel, but compare this $30 mod to $600-900 for one of those.
I still need to wrap the interior trim and maybe the air bag cover, but I’m hesitant on that (for safety obviously).
Wrap circumference was a bit short so stitching is not the best, but will do for now! In all it took me about an hour to do; had to use heat gun on trim since the middle was a bit more stiff than the edges.
What do y’all think!
