Not personally a fan of the DSR1 but some people like them. They do give you a lot of capabilities for a low price though.

You seem to have very strong opinions with nothing to back them up. In that price range the Sony seems like a decent amp.

Anyone with any experiance in the car audio world will tell you to stay away from Sony. They make very poor quality car audio components. Money can be spent on much better for less.

You are a good one to talk, speaking of the DSR1, one of the best options out there.

The Sony Class A amps are prized by car audio enthusiasts.

The DSR1 had serious software bugs which they seem to have ironed out. It has a reputation of being kind of noisy.

For DSPs, Helix, Mosconi, Alpine are all excellent.

And the Sony HU have some of the best BT in the industry, as far as headunits go.

I think my one concern about the sony amp is, there appears to be better available for the same money.
