Ive been looking everywhere for tires that I could put on my stock 20 chrome clad wheels. Im looking to get rind of these horrible Goodyear wrangers. Is there a different size that I could put on and just change the parameters of the height of the tire on my diablo? If there is one that I can what is the best grippiest tire for the road.

I like, and currently have the nitto 420s on my chrome clads. Nice sticky tire, nice tread pattern, good life on them, good handling

What about these tires?TOYO TIRES*PROXES S/T PERFORMANCE TIRE
Alot of reviews have them as excellent grip. Any one tried these. 1 guy on a review says he uses it on his 800 hp truck and only spins on shift changes.

I went with Nitto 420s tires as well but with the 275/55-20. They are 1'' shorter and same width.

Hows the overall grip. Do you guys spin when flooring it?. Would the 305 or 275 be better for dragstip so the 305 is a 12 inch wide tire and the 275 is a 10.8 in tire. How in the heck does the 305 fit on these rims. I need a pic of those on our stock rims lol.

I'm also a NT420 user, but only for my street tires, they're not the greatest at the strip if you're planning to launch hard, I'd light them up on the 22s fairly easily in 2wd, but they'd stick in 4wd. Running 275/40R22 on a 22x9.5 wheel. The 305 or even the 275 will fit on a stock 20" wheel since they're 8.5" wide.

I went with them because they're the tire of choice for the Alberta chapter of the VTCOA and they can push some serious numbers. I'm around 600rwhp and they hook just fine for my street driving, but I can light them fairly easily on the street if I got WOT off the line.

You gotta realize when people want sticky tires. They dont use tall 20" tires. I could be mistaken but I dont think they make a performance summer only tire for the size we could use.

Everything's all season and a all season tire is not going to be very sticky.

Isnt that kinda a oxymoron? lol.

They hook, but you can spin them easy..Doesn't sound like hooking to me.
So I assume you are saying you roll into from a stop?

275/65R20 will get you to diam 34.1in and width 11in and 285/65R20 will get you to diam 34.7in and width of 11.5in both fit without level or cutting.305/55R20 it is wider but shorter so less sidewall. It is diam 33.4in and 12.4 width. Stock is 275/60R20 33in and 11 sect width. All sizes but stock are pretty pricey which sucks.
