Hello I am looking into how to stiffen up my front end.I recently had my Ram dealer install a Mopar 2 inch lift on a 2019 Quad Cab 4x4 Laramie. Now on most turns when the truck leans the Traction control ESC kicks in.The techs can not figure it out.they have changed speed sensors,Yaw sensor, steering angle sensor.Still the same I sense the front end is too soft and leans too much.So I am asking if anyone knows if maybe the springs from a different model,Crew Cab ,Rebel,ORP springs may be stiffer to keep the ESC from engageing because it senses the truck leaning too much.I am grasping but Ram techs are lost as well.Any input would be much appreciated.

They bolt the sway bar back up lol? I’m guessing you have a 1500. No idea other than something is wrong. I have a 1500 with a 2” level and it don’t act any different vs stock. Seriously though. Check the sway bar

Just read the original post.

i agree, could certainly be they didnt reinstall the sway bar links maybe? Cant imagine what else it could be. The kit reused the original strut and spring im sure, so how the hell it would all of the sudden drive “soft” is beyond me.

That's just really weird. Is yours 1500? I had a 2017 that was both leveled at one time and then lifted 8" and I never had an issue like that. I feel like someone forgot to bolt something back up or maybe they damaged something in the wiring harness to that sensor somehow.

I don’t know any 1500 guys on this forum to mention. I feel sorry for you as the dealer is scratching their head too.
I thought if it doesn’t do it in 4wd then it is a traction issue

Sway bar lol. But close enough hahaha. 1500 is ifs a totally different animal. I’m betting sway bar issues though
I thought when a 1500 got a suspension lift it included a track bar like on the 2500

That would be the only thing I can think of if left not reinstalled properly would be causing that issue

OP check your end links to make sure they are all tight and good to go. Yours may look slightly different since it's a 2019 and this picture is from my 2017 but it should look relatively similarcddb21932a22a7383c41977e9ed0ba35.jpg

Maybe. I dunno. But he only went 2”. I leveled my 1500 2” and required no new parts. My 1500 is 2wd

no track bar on the front of a 1500. Regardless of lift or not. Totally different setup than a 2500.

possibly. But, shouldn't he be able to?! LOL
Haha yeah what I was getting at, was a dragging brake or one not engaging... I am just spit balling. Being a new truck it has more electronics then my 2011 so I can’t compare much. And seems to be a different animal altogether then my wagon.
