stock axles, 37s

i was wondering if the stock dana 44/9.25 would be fine with 37s if i regeared

In themselves the D44 and the 9.25 will handle those tires fine, what won't like them is the ball-joints and the unit bearings. It all depends on how you use your truck. Personally I think the d60 swap was the best thing I ever did to my truck, well it's right up there in my list.

^What he said. If you drive strictly a mall-crawler, you'll be fine. If you see even a dirt road on a regular basis you're going to be in for a rough time.

Just don't do it.. I ran 37s on my stock axles for literally 2 weeks and it broke 2 ujoints and an axle shaft.. Not to mention my tranny was struggling to say the least.. Time for a axle and gear swap my friend..

Yeah I wouldnt do that, you're better off to just do a D60/70 swap and get upgraded steering.
